Telegram has reappeared on Galaxy Watch and other Wear OS devices, but the new app is currently limited to users enrolled in Telegram Beta through Google Play.
The comeback matters because Telegram dropped Wear OS in 2021, leaving one of the platform’s biggest messaging gaps on Galaxy Watch smartwatches.
Screenshots from a Galaxy Watch 7 show a near-phone-like interface, with matching chat backgrounds, conversation styling and Telegram’s visual identity rather than a stripped-down companion app.
The app is also tuned for round displays, keeping group chats readable and adding a large “Open on Phone” shortcut to hand conversations back to a smartphone.
