O'Shaquie Foster retained his WBC super featherweight title with a majority decision over Ray Ford in Houston, winning 114-114, 116-112 and 118-110.
Foster pulled away in the second half, using higher activity, front-foot pressure and combination punching to take most of the final six rounds after a close opening half.
Round 1 set the tone for the bad blood when Foster threw Ford out of the ring, but referee Jon Schorle did not deduct a point.
Shakur Stevenson then entered the ring at Foster's invitation, and the two exchanged heated words before security separated them.
