Rob Burnette appeared at the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Steak Fry and Auction in August 2025, with his firm Outlook Financial Center serving as presenting sponsor of the chamber’s biggest fundraiser.
Burnette used the event to reinforce his core message on retirement planning: start saving early, invest consistently and seek guidance before estate, tax and insurance decisions become harder to manage.
Outlook Financial Center has operated in Troy since 2010 and moved there full time in 2015; Burnette now runs the business with a four-person team that includes family members and licensed adviser Lori Gross.
Burnette, a former Navy nuclear-submarine officer who became a financial adviser in 2002, recently published “The Retirement Periscope” to push younger savers to act early rather than chase investment tips.
