IDF Says Anti-Drone Measures Are Underway After Hezbollah FPV Strike on Iron Dome Battery

Operational and technological countermeasures against Hezbollah’s FPV drones are already being developed and deployed, IDF Chief Eyal Zamir said during a frontline assessment in the Mount Dov area.
Hezbollah’s fiber-optic, manually guided FPV drones have challenged Israeli defenses by bypassing jamming and tracking systems; the group this month claimed a strike on an Iron Dome battery and released video the IDF did not formally refute.
Zamir said the military would keep targeting launch squads, operators and commanders wherever they operate, adding Hezbollah has suffered “unprecedented” cumulative damage.
More than 7,500 terrorists have been killed since the war began, including 2,500 since Operation Roaring Lion, according to Zamir, who said the IDF remains on high readiness against Iran as well.
