Digital Chat Station said Oppo’s Find X10 series is set to use a Samsung-made 100MP front camera with a 1:1 square format and 1/2.5-inch sensor.
Honor’s Magic9 lineup is also being tested with a 100MP selfie camera, reportedly the 1/1.8-inch OVA0B sensor cropped to a square 1:1 format.
The square sensor design lets users shoot portrait and landscape selfies without rotating the phone, while the larger format can widen the field of view.
For the rear setup, the same leak reiterated that Magic9 is being evaluated with a 200MP main camera and 64MP periscope lens, using several candidate 200MP sensors.
