$17.7 million in 2025 NFLPA group licensing income made Shedeur Sanders the highest earner in the program's history, according to Front Office Sports.
Fan spending on jerseys, trading cards and other collectibles drove the haul, which topped Tom Brady's previous record of $9.5 million set in 2021-22.
The licensing windfall dwarfed Sanders' four-year, $4.647 million rookie contract with Cleveland and pushed his total rookie-season earnings close to or above $20 million when other endorsements are included.
That commercial success came after Sanders slid to Day 3 of the 2025 draft, then went 3-4 in seven Browns starts with 1,400 passing yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
His off-field popularity remains strong even as his on-field role is unsettled entering 2026, with a healthy Deshaun Watson splitting first-team reps under new coach Todd Monken.
