Hobart-Lawrence police arrested Packers running back Josh Jacobs on Tuesday and booked him into Brown County Jail on five domestic abuse-related charges, including felony strangulation and suffocation.
Dispatch audio obtained by TMJ4 captured reports of yelling, screaming and things being thrown inside Jacobs' Wisconsin home, while a neighbor separately told authorities someone there had been assaulted.
Police said Jacobs had left the residence in a Mercedes G-Wagon before officers arrived, prompting an alert to stop the vehicle if spotted through license-plate readers.
Jacobs' attorneys said the 28-year-old vehemently denies the allegations and argued key evidence has not yet been made public, while police said the investigation remains active.
The NFL has contacted the Packers about the case, though Green Bay declined comment as Jacobs faces scrutiny after rushing for 929 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2025.
