Next month, Twitch will roll out Dual Format, letting creators stream horizontal and vertical video simultaneously for desktop and mobile viewers.
The feature builds on Enhanced Broadcasting, with client-side encoding of multiple stream variants and new server-side transcoding support for Partners and many Affiliates to reduce system strain.
1440p streaming will also expand next month to all Partners and Affiliates, alongside higher bitrate support, better notifications and Stream Summaries that recap a broadcast so far.
Twitch also unveiled Auto Clips, automatic clip captions, Stories updates and new monetization tools including Creator Sponsorships and broader Bounty Board access for Affiliates.
For eurozone streamers, Twitch said SEPA payments will remove currency exchange fees, though it gave no launch date beyond saying users will be notified when the update goes live.
