Joy Behar said her next two weeks away from "The View" are not a hiatus but a planned work trip to London for her play "My First Ex-Husband."
Friday's clarification followed media chatter after producer Brian Teta said on Tuesday's "Behind the Table" podcast that Behar would be off the show for "a little bit."
Behar used the on-air moment to promote the play, which its website describes as an adaptation of true stories about love, sex and relationships featuring a rotating cast.
She also said she has written multiple plays and plans another production, "Bonkers in the Boroughs," in the Hamptons at the end of summer.
