Nissan Ireland Mocks Ferrari’s €550,000 Luce Over Leaf EV Comparisons

Nissan Ireland posted on Facebook and Instagram that it was “flattered” by online comparisons between Ferrari’s newly unveiled Luce EV and Nissan’s third-generation Leaf.
The social-media jab went further, telling Ferrari that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” after users began linking the two cars’ shape and color earlier this week.
The post drew heavy reaction because automakers rarely taunt rivals publicly, especially across such different market segments.
Price underscores the gap: Ferrari’s first EV starts at €550,000 in Italy, versus just under €41,000 for the Leaf, making the Luce about 13.5 times more expensive.
