Honor’s Watch 6 Plus will go on sale in China on May 29 from 1,199 yuan ($176), pairing a 1,000mAh battery with a 10.8mm case.
That battery is roughly double the Apple Watch Ultra’s 564mAh cell and supports a claimed 35 days in low-power mode, 17 days in normal use, or 42 hours of GPS tracking.
Honor appears to be relying on silicon-carbon battery technology already used in its phones, helping fit higher capacity into a relatively slim watch body.
The 1.46-inch wearable runs Honor’s lighter MagicOS rather than a full smartwatch platform like Wear OS, helping explain the long endurance claims.
China is the only confirmed market so far, though Honor typically launches wearables at home first before broader international releases.
