SEALSQ made another strategic investment in EeroQ and agreed to anchor its next priced financing round, moving from partner to lead investor in the U.S. quantum chip designer’s next growth phase.
The step follows joint progress on a quantum security stack and EeroQ’s demonstration of a control architecture that can manage up to 1 million qubits with fewer than 50 physical control lines.
SEALSQ said the funding will help scale EeroQ’s helium-based, CMOS-compatible processor roadmap, expand its Chicago R&D footprint and advance fabrication milestones.
The investment comes through SEALSQ’s Quantum Fund and builds on two earlier EeroQ investments in December 2025 and February 2026.
For SEALSQ, the deal supports its Quantum Highway and “Quantum Made in USA” strategies, aimed at linking secure semiconductors, post-quantum cryptography and quantum computing for sovereign-use markets.

SEALSQ Bets Big on EeroQ: Million-Qubit Electron-on-Helium Quantum Processor Drives US-EU Secure Quantum Ecosystem
Overview
SEALSQ has deepened its strategic commitment to EeroQ by leading a new investment round, driven by the strong progress in their partnership and EeroQ’s recent breakthroughs. EeroQ’s unique quantum computing architecture, based on electrons on helium, has demonstrated the ability to control one million qubits with fewer than 50 physical lines, showing clear scalability. Their collaboration with Conductor Quantum and NVIDIA further strengthened SEALSQ’s confidence in EeroQ’s potential. This move aligns with SEALSQ’s goal to build a secure, integrated quantum ecosystem, supporting its broader strategy to advance quantum technology in the US and Europe.
