Samsung Expands One UI 8.5 to 3 Galaxy Phones With May 2026 Patch

Samsung has pushed the stable One UI 8.5 update to the Galaxy M55, Galaxy A16 5G and Galaxy A17 5G, extending the rollout with the May 2026 Android security patch.
The M55 update carries firmware M556BXXU5DZE3, is about 3GB, and is rolling out in India; the A16 5G build A166PXXU7DZE2 is about 2.3GB in India and Indonesia.
The Galaxy A17 5G package uses firmware A176BXXU5CZE9, weighs about 2.4GB, and is reaching users in India, Nepal, France, Bulgaria and Vietnam.
The broader One UI 8.5 rollout has already brought refreshed interface changes and AI features to other Samsung models, as the company continues widening availability across midrange devices.
