Munich Airport restarted operations after a suspected drone sighting briefly grounded flights Saturday morning, though many departures around 10 a.m. local time were still delayed or canceled.
Two pilots reported seeing a drone over the airport, prompting an about one-hour shutdown that was lifted at 10:05 a.m. after no threat was found.
More than 20 flights were diverted during the halt, and police used a helicopter in a search that found no drone.
The incident has triggered an investigation and adds to broader security concerns over drone disruptions at major airports.
