More than 150 business and smart-casual clothing items were delivered to the Brockton campus of the VA Medical Center through the Norfolk County Registry of Deeds' "Suits for Success" program.
Brockton VA officials said suits and dress clothes help veterans prepare for job interviews and workplace settings by easing a financial barrier and boosting confidence.
William P. O'Donnell, the Norfolk County register of deeds, transported the donated clothing and urged more contributions, saying demand for professional attire continues.
Since launching in February 2009, the Registry's program has collected more than 13,300 articles of clothing, supporting the VA's broader efforts to promote veterans' stability and self-sufficiency.
