FBI, Texas Authorities Arrest 276 Suspected Child Predators and Rescue 89 Children in 2-Month Operation

276 arrests and 89 child rescues were recorded in North Texas during Operation Soteria Shield, a joint FBI-state crackdown conducted across March and April.
91 law enforcement agencies targeted suspects accused of online child exploitation, trafficking, abuse, and producing or distributing child sexual abuse material through social media, messaging apps, and other digital platforms.
The Texas sweep was part of the FBI's broader Operation Iron Pursuit, which earlier this month was said to have led to more than 350 child sexual abuse offender arrests nationwide.
Kash Patel said the FBI has identified more than 6,940 child victims since last year, up 144%, and arrested nearly 3,000 child predators, up 70%, signaling a wider national push against child exploitation networks.
