12 years and eight months in prison was imposed on Rebecca Haro in Riverside after she pleaded guilty to child endangerment causing great bodily injury, involuntary manslaughter and accessory after the fact.
Authorities said Haro knew or suspected that 7-month-old Emmanuel was being abused by his father and failed to intervene, forming the basis of the plea deal.
Emmanuel disappeared last August and has never been found after the couple claimed he was kidnapped outside a Southern California store while Haro was attacked and left unconscious.
