Muskingum County's Ohio Means Jobs office said local employers are actively seeking teenage workers as the school year ends, pitching summer jobs as a way for teens to earn money and gain early work experience.

Witten Farms, Rooster's, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, the City of Zanesville and Genesis Workforce Development Unit were among the employers she identified as hiring teens for seasonal or youth-focused roles.
Kendrick urged applicants to apply online, visit employers in person or contact her office at 740-454-6211 for help connecting with available positions.
