Bailey Says UK Banks Remain Shut Out of Anthropic's Mythos AI Tool

British banks still cannot access Anthropic PBC's Mythos, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey said in a Bloomberg Television interview on Friday.
Bailey said access matters because regulators are concerned about AI-related risks and need banks to understand and test the technology's cybersecurity implications.
UK lenders are instead using other AI models to probe their cyberdefenses while waiting for Mythos access.
