Ukraine's military said its strike shut down Lukoil's Volgograd refinery after hitting primary and secondary processing units, with a fire recorded at one of southern Russia's biggest plants.
The same attack also hit Transneft's Yaroslavl-3 pumping station, where two oil reservoirs of 50,000 and 20,000 cubic meters were reported burning on the Surgut-Polotsk pipeline.
Damage at both sites was still being assessed, while Kyiv also reported strikes on a Tor-M2 air-defense system, a command post, drone control centers, a logistics depot and troop concentrations.
Earlier reports from Russian officials and social media had described fires at energy facilities in Volgograd and fuel storage sites in Yaroslavl after an overnight drone attack that Russia said involved 208 drones.
