Jesse Phillips, 38, was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's Most Wanted List after deputies said he fatally shot a man in the chest Wednesday in Pickett County.
A black pickup with a yellow hood believed to be Phillips' was found at a home on Norman Cole Road in Albany, Kentucky, suggesting he may have crossed state lines.
TBI said Pickett County deputies responded to a shooting on the 1000 block of Parker Road, found the victim wounded, and the person later died at a hospital; the identity is being withheld pending family notification.
Authorities describe Phillips as 5-foot-10 and about 225 pounds, warn he is armed and dangerous, and are offering a reward for information leading to his arrest.
