Ariana Grande unveiled an eerie teaser for “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” showing Justin Long driving before her eyes appear in his rearview mirror.
The clip points to a horror-leaning visual style, with yellow title text echoing 1986 film posters for The Hitcher and frequent collaborator Christian Breslauer tagged on the post.
The song is the lead single from Grande’s eighth studio album, Petal, which she executive produced with ILYA and will release on July 31.
Petal arrives during Grande’s 41-date Eternal Sunshine Tour, which opens June 6 in Oakland and ends with 10 shows at London’s O2 Arena.
The rollout follows Eternal Sunshine, which topped the Billboard 200 in 2024 and returned to No. 1 in 2025 after its deluxe edition.
