AkademikerPension said it will not invest in SpaceX, making the Danish pension fund one of the latest institutional investors to reject the company.
Anders Schelde, the fund’s chief investment officer, said SpaceX is “grossly overvalued” as the company targets a valuation of at least $1.8 trillion in an eventual IPO.
The move extends AkademikerPension’s recent willingness to take high-profile political and market stances after it earlier this year dropped US Treasuries when Donald Trump threatened to seize Greenland.
