Bandai Namco Adds 3x Smooth Turning to Little Nightmares VR as PC Gets Hood Toggle

A May update for Little Nightmares VR: Altered Echoes adds smooth turning on all platforms and lets PC VR players disable protagonist Dark Six's hood vignette, two of the game's most common complaints.
Smooth turning now offers speed presets from 0.5x to 3x, while the hood toggle remains PC-only because Bandai Namco says other platforms face performance limitations.
The patch also improves climbable interactions, environment collision and object handling, plus AI behavior during investigations and chase sequences.
At launch, Bandai Namco said the game would stay snap-turn-only and keep the vignette for motion-sickness prevention and immersion, but later acknowledged both options were highly requested.
The change addresses a key accessibility issue for VR players, though Bandai Namco has not said whether Meta Quest or PlayStation VR2 will get the hood option later.
A simple graphic option is now PC-exclusive. Is the VR performance gap between platforms growing wider than we thought?
This VR hit fixed major flaws post-launch. Is community backlash becoming a required part of the VR development cycle?
