Architect Buys IMX Health to Launch First U.S. AI Futures Exchange

Architect Financial said it acquired IMX Health LLC, a U.S. designated contract market, and will use it to launch the American Innovation Exchange, pending regulatory review.
The new venue is designed as the first CFTC-regulated U.S. futures and options market built for the AI economy, starting with contracts tied to compute costs across multiple GPU vendors and models.
Those contracts will use IOSCO- and EU BMR-certified indexes built from real-time private transactions, aiming to let datacenters, hyperscalers, model companies and lenders hedge AI infrastructure costs more precisely.
Architect said the exchange will also offer cross-marginable products linked to metals, energy and power, and is developing an exchange-for-physical market to connect cash-settled derivatives with physical compute delivery.
The launch underscores a push to turn AI supply-chain inputs into tradable risk markets as demand for compute, power and financing expands.
