Fabian Aichner made his TNA in-ring debut with a disqualification win over Eddie Edwards after The System broke up his submission attempt.
Earlier Thursday, TNA confirmed Aichner had signed with the company after crashing Cedric Alexander’s X Division title win two weeks ago and targeting The System.
KC Navarro also emerged from the men’s Champions Challenge with a reward, pinning international champion Mustafa Ali to earn a shot at the TNA International Championship.
Xia Brookside matched that in the women’s Champions Challenge, pinning Knockouts champion Lei Ying Lee after outside interference to claim a Knockouts World title opportunity.
June 28 now looms as TNA’s next key date: Leon Slater was added to Slammiversary’s Ultimate X match, with four spots still unfilled.
