Jamie Richardson, 32, and Richard Thiedeman, 34, said they were "really angry" after being jeered for bypassing the queue to touch Yr Wyddfa's summit trig point on Sunday.
The pair said they had already climbed Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike in a 24-hour Three Peaks charity challenge for friend Thomas Hynes, who has motor neurone disease, and were exhausted in 20C-plus heat.
Richardson said one man physically tried to block him after he tapped the summit, while others shouted that he should be ashamed despite his charity T-shirt.
The hikers argued the queue is voluntary rather than enforced at the 1,085m peak, where visitors have previously waited more than an hour to reach the trig point during busy periods.
