New Orleans Lands 3 Restaurants in North America's Top 50 as Dakar Climbs to No. 4

Dakar reached No. 4 on North America's 50 Best Restaurants list, up two spots from No. 6 last year, and was also named Best Restaurant in the South.
New Orleans placed three restaurants in the top 50, with Emeril's at No. 20 and Acamaya at No. 30, underscoring the city's strong showing on the regional ranking.
Emeril's also won the Best for Several Rooms Icon award, with chef Emeril Lagasse thanking the audience after the honor was announced.
The list, unveiled Thursday, ranked restaurants across the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean; Chicago's Smyth took the No. 1 spot overall.
