Weeks after Meta pushed Navigator to all Quest users, owners report that routine actions now take extra steps and there is no built-in way to revert to the old interface.
Meta built the redesign to launch VR experiences faster, but that priority shifted system controls into a 2-layer window setup and hid frequent actions behind long-presses, double-clicks and smaller icons.
Common tasks affected include closing apps, pinning or uninstalling titles, taking screenshots, recording video, casting to a TV and even finding Settings, all of which now require deeper menu navigation.
