20 Samsung devices — including Galaxy A34, A35, A36, A37 and M34, M35, M36 models plus several tablets — are gaining the Camera Assistant app through One UI 8.5.
The expansion brings a feature once largely limited to higher-end Galaxy phones to lower-end and midrange devices, adding controls for lens and zoom behavior, autofocus speed and scene-based lens selection.
Some functions will still vary by device because older hardware may not support more demanding camera-sensor or image-processing features.
Galaxy Tab S8, S9 and S10 series models are also included, and users can access Camera Assistant from the Camera app settings, the Galaxy Store or Good Lock.
One UI 8.5 began rolling out in Korea on May 6 and reached additional regions on May 11, also carrying other Galaxy S26 features such as Call Screening, a photo assistant and Audio Eraser.
