WWE Sources Call Ludwig Kaiser ICE Defense Story Planted After $1,000 Battery Bond

$1,000 bond records and a Fightful Select update have sharpened scrutiny of Ludwig Kaiser's battery case, with WWE sources saying the story casting him as defending Andrea Bazarte after "ICE" comments was planted.
An unfamiliar number, not Kaiser, Bazarte or WWE staff, reportedly sent that version to wrestling media after neighbor Richard Reap accused Kaiser of assaulting him outside an elevator in April.
WWE talent told Fightful they largely reject the "defense" narrative and believe Kaiser should have walked away, though sources expect the charge to be dismissed and say he has no internal heat.
A judge has already cleared Kaiser to travel, allowing him to appear for AAA last weekend, and he is not expected to miss upcoming WWE dates including Saturday's Mask vs. Mask match.
