Apple’s 2026 iPhone lineup is now rumored to bring 12GB of RAM to all models, lifting the base iPhone 18 from 8GB to match the Pro versions.
The leaks also point to A20 and A20 Pro chips, a new C2 modem, and an N2 WiFi chip, with Apple still expected to unveil the phones in early September.
Pro models are tipped to get batteries above 5,000mAh and a variable-aperture camera, a hardware change that could improve low-light shots and more natural portrait effects.
Design changes appear modest: 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays are said to stay near last year’s sizes, though brighter screens, a smaller Dynamic Island, and revised back glass are rumored.
Pricing remains unclear as an industry RAM shortage threatens higher device costs, while Apple is also expected to launch or announce a separate foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 range.
