Logan Paul said Wednesday he underwent triceps surgery while awake after tearing the muscle during WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, and he posted a photo of the scar on his left arm.
A front-flip attack from Angelo Dawkins appeared to cause the injury, with Paul grabbing his left arm immediately after the landing even as Austin Theory went on to retain the tag titles.
Paul said doctors projected a 6-month recovery, though he joked he would return in a couple of weeks; he remains one-half of the tag team champions with Theory.
Paul Heyman said on Monday Night Raw that Theory would not have to relinquish the belts because The Vision holds the titles, with Bron Breakker stepping in for Paul while he recovers.
The injury leaves WWE still sorting out whether The Vision will use another replacement for Paul, extending the fallout from the title match into the tag-team picture.
