Apple released the first public betas of iOS 26.6, iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, watchOS 26.6 and tvOS 26.6, two days after sending the same builds to developers.
Public testers can enroll through Apple's beta site and install the updates from Software Update in Settings, extending access beyond the developer program.
iOS 26.6 adds a notice when users have blocked too many contacts, though the cap is in the thousands and most people are unlikely to hit it.
No other major features have surfaced so far, suggesting Apple is using the 26.6 cycle mainly for bug fixes and security improvements.
The release lands near the end of the current software generation, with Apple expected to unveil iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and macOS 27 in 11 days.
