Anduril showcased EagleEye XR’s digital night vision with an 84-degree field of view, stereo thermal fusion and a 4K display, positioning the headset as a wider-view alternative to legacy binocular systems like the PVS-31.
The system shifts low-light and thermal sensors off the glasses and into a helmet-linked sensor suite, while feeding the wearer external battlefield data from Anduril’s AI-driven Lattice network.
That demonstration comes as Anduril competes for the U.S. Army’s Soldier Borne Mission Command contract, the successor effort to the 10-year, $22 billion IVAS program first awarded to Microsoft in 2018.
Anduril took over the older IVAS contract in February 2025 and has since added partners including Meta, Oakley Standard Issue, Qualcomm and Gentex to speed development and lower costs.
