Kevin Knight turned on tag partner Mike Bailey on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, blasting him with a clothesline after Bailey urged him to apologize for attacking Darby Allin at Double or Nothing.
Knight framed Sunday’s stretcher assault as justified, saying Allin "blew it" in his world-title loss to MJF and claiming he should have been in the main event instead.
Bailey tried to calm the situation by acknowledging Knight’s ambition and offering a reconciliation, but Knight rejected the gesture, hit him again and appeared to end Jet Speed.
The split came as AEW reshuffled its title picture: MJF celebrated his third world-title reign by age 30, brushed off Mark Briscoe and teased a title match with Rush for next week.
