October 13 is the launch date for Planet Zoo 2, which Frontier says will bring fully aquatic and flying species into the series for the first time on PC and Xbox Series X|S.
Aquariums and aviaries headline the sequel’s new habitats, with 3D navigation for fish and birds, walk-through aviaries, and dynamic water that reacts to animal movement.
Frontier also highlighted upgraded animal simulation, including mood-driven behavior cues, more detailed animations, and expanded cohabitation and habitat-building systems.
£39.99/$49.99 is the standard edition price, while the £54.99/$64.99 Deluxe Edition adds six extra animal species; pre-orders open immediately with a bonus content pack.
