Huawei Launches Pura 90 Pro Max With 200MP Periscope Camera and 6,000mAh Battery

Huawei unveiled the Pura 90 Pro Max as its latest camera-led flagship, pairing a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with a 50MP main camera and 40MP ultra-wide sensor.
The new model pushes zoom and imaging features with 4x optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom, optical stabilization and Huawei’s second-generation Red Maple color imaging system.
A 6,000mAh battery backs the phone alongside 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, while IP68 and IP69 ratings underline its premium, durability-focused positioning.
Huawei also fitted the device with its Kirin 9030S chip and a variable-aperture main camera that shifts from f/1.4 to f/4.0 to improve low-light shots and depth control.
The launch extends Huawei’s Pura strategy of competing through camera hardware, even as the brand still faces software ecosystem limits such as the absence of Google services.
