Xfinity Launches Multi-Gig Internet to 16,000+ Susquehanna River Valley Homes and Businesses

More than 16,000 homes and businesses in Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna River Valley can now access Xfinity’s multi-gig internet, with residents able to check address-specific construction timing and service availability online.
The rollout extends Comcast’s fiber-powered network and brings Xfinity’s full residential lineup to the region, including internet, mobile, TV, voice and home security.
Comcast is also targeting local businesses with connectivity products such as SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, unified communications and 5G mobile service through Comcast Business.
The company said the expansion is meant to support business growth and give residents another reliable broadband option, while tying into broader digital-inclusion efforts such as Internet Essentials and WiFi-connected Lift Zones.
