Spencer Pratt told Us Weekly that Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx privately urged him on in his Los Angeles mayoral run, saying he had “multiple witnesses” if representatives disputed it.
DiCaprio’s representative quickly pushed back, telling Fox News Digital the actor has not publicly or privately endorsed any candidate; Foxx’s team did not immediately respond.
Pratt, who launched his campaign in January, has centered it on homelessness, public safety and government spending while casting himself as an outsider challenging Mayor Karen Bass.
Recent backing for Pratt has included donations from Lakers owner Jeanie Buss and public support from Paris Hilton, Katharine McPhee, David Foster, Kristin Cavallari and Billy Bush, even as Chelsea Handler, Drew Carey and Lauren Conrad have kept their distance or criticized him.
