Infinix’s Hot 70 has begun its global rollout, with an initial hands-on showing a 6,000mAh battery, a 6.78-inch 120Hz IPS LCD and a slim 7.5mm body weighing just under 200g.
The box includes a 45W charger, USB-C earbuds and a matching case, while the Thermo Orange version adds a heat-reactive rear panel that darkens in cold conditions.
That color-shift effect proved hard to trigger in testing, requiring about 20 minutes in a freezer rather than typical day-to-day use.
The display looks fluid and reasonably bright, but its 720p resolution appears stretched on the nearly 7-inch panel, leaving visible grain in fine text and details.
Infinix has not disclosed pricing yet, though the feature mix and trade-offs point to a budget-focused launch for the Hot 70 series.
