Bloomberg’s latest leak shows Apple folding a rebuilt Siri into iOS 27 search and adding a standalone Siri app that can compete with ChatGPT-style assistants.
Swipe-down Spotlight searches would now run on AI-powered Siri using Google’s Gemini under the hood, while quick voice requests still appear through the Dynamic Island.
The new interface is designed to handle app launches, messages, weather, calendar entries, notes searches and shortcuts, with answers shown in formatted card-style results.

Scale remains Apple’s edge ahead of WWDC on June 8: ChatGPT has 900 million weekly active users, while Apple’s device install base stands at 2.5 billion.
