CapCut’s new Pad app is now live on the Google Play Store for Android tablets, with all editing features unlocked free for a limited time.
Desktop-style tools include a multi-track timeline, Chroma key, keyframe animation, stabilization, background removal, AI editing and 4K 60fps HDR export.
Cross-device support lets users start projects on a phone, continue on desktop and finish on a tablet, addressing the old blown-up phone-app experience on Android tablets.
The Android release follows the iPad version launched in December 2025, and some features could later move behind paid plans; CapCut’s regular app starts at $7.99 a month.
