$399 Oura Ring 5 is up for preorder now and ships June 4, with a redesigned body that is 40% smaller than Ring 4 and weighs 2 to 2.69 grams depending on size.
The slimmer titanium ring keeps 6 to 9 days of battery life, adds a charging case with five full charges and wireless charging support, and uses stronger LEDs plus a less scratch-prone coating.
Health Radar expands Oura’s software with nighttime blood pressure and breathing trends, medical-record imports, and an AI chatbot, while new GLP-1 tools track doses, side effects, and metric changes.
June software rollouts also include third-party heart-rate monitor pairing, live activity metrics, and a Brain Health Study, alongside time-based data deletion controls after last year's Palantir-related privacy controversy.
The redesign has trade-offs: Oura recommends a new sizing kit for upgraders, Ring 5 drops the smallest and largest sizes to a 6-to-13 range, and ceramic is still unavailable.
