Summary
$63 billion of BNY Investments liquidity strategies will be tokenized on Archax, adding UCITS government, prime money market and short-term bond funds for eligible UK and European investors.
The offering packages fund units as blockchain-based real-world assets, aiming to speed settlement, improve transparency and give institutions regulated on-chain access to liquidity and diversification tools.
Six initial funds include ILF GBP and EUR Liquidity, ILF GBP and EUR Liquidity Plus, BNY Mellon U.S. Treasury and BNY Mellon U.S. Dollar Liquidity.
Archax said the tokens will launch first across 12 networks including Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Hedera, Stellar and XRPL, extending distribution of BNY Investments strategies managed within its $2.1 trillion asset base.
