Summary
8-11 June 2026, ICANN will stage its 86th Public Meeting in Seville, gathering governments, businesses, civil society and technical experts at the FIBES center.
The 4-day forum will focus on DNS abuse mitigation, access to domain-registration data, DNS security and resilience, Universal Acceptance, Internationalized Domain Names and internet-number coordination.
ICANN said the work is aimed at keeping the global internet stable, secure and interoperable as scrutiny grows over how cross-border technical systems are coordinated.
Spain's digital transformation ministry is hosting the hybrid meeting, with in-person registration open until 7 June and remote participation available through the event.
ICANN86 will be the organization's second public meeting in Spain since Barcelona in 2018, and includes outreach through NextGen@ICANN and the ICANN Fellowship program.
