Four journalists and analysts were introduced as the Financial Times' editorial team for Monetary Policy Radar, a product focused on how central-bank moves affect readers and investments.
Chris Giles will lead the effort after 19 years as the FT's global economics editor, joined by Andrew Whiffin from Lex, data lead Joel Suss and reporter Elettra Ardissino.
Joel Suss most recently worked as a research data scientist at the Bank of England, while Ardissino previously advised a London hedge fund on European economics.
The lineup combines economics commentary, markets coverage, data analysis and rate-decision reporting as the FT expands its central-bank coverage.
