Android Auto beta 17.0.162144 now supports multiple swipeable media cards on the dashboard, letting users switch among active audio apps without reopening each one.
The change keeps recent sessions from apps such as Spotify, YouTube Music, Pocket Casts and Audible available as separate cards in the dashboard UI.
Previously, Android Auto showed only 1 media card at a time, so switching back to an earlier app required reopening it and resuming playback.
The feature follows an APK teardown first reported in October and has not yet appeared on the stable channel, though a broader rollout looks likely.
