June 4 will bring Donkey Kong 64 to Nintendo Switch Online’s N64 catalog, giving many Switch owners their first legal access to the 1999 game since its original release.
43 N64 games will then be available in the West, making Donkey Kong 64 the service’s first new Nintendo 64 addition of 2026 after five were added last year.
Years of fan requests helped drive the release, with speculation intensifying after a blurred 2025 Switch Online trailer appeared to show the game’s box art.
