The Pokemon Company said lifetime shipments of Pokemon software exceeded 515 million units by the end of March 2026, up from 489 million a year earlier.
That 26 million-unit increase was fueled by fresh releases and reissues, including October's Pokemon Legends Z-A on Switch 2 and Switch ports of FireRed and LeafGreen.
Pokemon Pokopia also added momentum: Nintendo said earlier this year it sold more than 4 million copies by the end of its release month, and the March cutoff means later sales are not yet included.
The milestone underscores the franchise's durability even after criticism of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's launch, with another boost possible when Gen 10's Pokemon Winds and Waves arrives in 2027.
